I might be mildly disturbed by that. ;)
The trouble you are having with uploading photos could be that your shots are too big. If your computer is freezing up it could mean that your processor is overloaded by the file size (just a guess). The solution would be to reduce the file size in a program like Photoshop or use a different computer.
