Well, it's been a VERY busy time...the 26th Annual Artists at the Brush exhibition was a success for me, since it got me to create four new pieces, of which most sold. The Lowell Folk Festival brought lots of poeple into the area, and The Brush welcomed over 2000 visitors through the gallery and studios over the weekend. I was glad to spend a good chunk of Sunday meeting and talking with visitors to the studio I share with my wife, Chrissy Theo Hungate.
ArtWalk Lowell 2008 Chrissy and I finished our windows for 43 Market Street, and we hope you'll go check them out! Mine is a bit wacky, with a touch of humor, since life can get a bit too serious at times ... and to make it even more fun, I was blessed with some great help from my daughters on this one! Check out all of the windows and don't forget to VOTE!
---VOTE FOR ME---VOTE FOR ME---ART SAVES!!---You might win a dinner out just for voting, so if you don't want to vote for my window, vote for another WASAA member...there are many!
and of course:
LOWELL OPEN STUDIOS - September 27 & 28 - visit me to see my newest works in granite, marble, plaster and cement.
